Charlie Bucket, a boy from an impoverished family under the shadow of a giant chocolate factory, wins a candy bar contest and is given a tour, along with four other children, of the amazing factory run by the eccentric Willy Wonka and his staff of Oompa-Loompas.
Basically, the movie has little or mild storyline. perhaps it's a child 's fantasy to come true to have a river of melted chocolate or a waterfall of chocolate. Hah! i do like the waterfall of chocolates, love the Oompa-Loompas when the music comes up and dancing. Groovy baby~.

Yea a lot of my guy friends have said that they will NOT see willy wonka b/c it just looks too freaky for them...but for me, i love johnny depp and it has always been a favorite story of mine.
a bit different from the first movie though...have you seen that one? Starring Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka? I highly suggest it if you haven't -- a bit different. :)

haha... really...hmm..no.. think i would still johnny depp. haha.. and i heard they combined 2 stories into one for this movie.. not sure it's real cos i never read that book before..
