Amazing Race at IKEA

Was at IKEA last evening shopping for my room. before i forget, i am back home at Balestier. bye AMK and re-hi Balestier. i almost cannot recognise my house and room. A complete makeover. W.O.W.

Went shopping with my bro. Trying to brainstorm for ideas to make almost every single props, bits in the house look nice, compact and of course neat and tidy. IKEA is now on sale till 14 August 2005 in case you didn't know. Try to avoid weekends else you will be performing Daytona stunts with your trolleys. nono.. Daytona was a popular racing arcade game. i should mention Initial-D. Try to avoid weekends else you will be performing Initial-D stunts at corners and running childrens. It's still crowded on Monday. Sale~

My mind almost went loose when i found things suits my retro-theme bedroom. Bright, sunny and orangy is the theme. Vampires out of bounds. But i don't mind vampress.. :P still in IKEA, decided to take 5 while waiting for taxi. there stood 3 girls trying to fit a big big box into their corolla. i was thinking, do they ever think about limited space when they bought it? i'm sure they are very optimistic about the interior space of their silver car. Came a man with his family after shopping, helping them to carry the box. Me sitting there with eye-power and a helpful heart( aww~) decided to help the helpless man. err... and the 3 girls.

We figured the only way to put that damn thing in the car( the boot is too small for the box) is to lower the front passenger seat and fit that damn thing horizontally next to the driver. i didn't get to find out how the 2 girls gonna squeeze behind in the passenger seat with my brother haunting me to take cab out of IKEA.

While waiting that cab, we saw a lady, ang mo lady running to a bustop with a haversack, a carrier and a foldable chair on her hands. we only realised she is chasing a bus when it overtaked her and stopped to wait for her. what a nice bus captain. there're still nice people around. Standing ovation for bus driver and the angmo.( but we were standing while waiting, duh~)

And we missed the cab while clapping.

Comments:
