through the pouring drizzle and the blinding snow
just came back from bangkok. Flew over for a quick, short trip. Okie i am a living frog in a well. It was my first trip to bangkok. i guess it's the furthest place i travelled till this date. i thought it was a relaxing trip but then... it was just so hectic. Did abit of shopping. Tried to meet my colleague who went with her friend. Supposed to meet my friend but was called up to flew to Sydney in the very last minute.
They have bottled Ice-Milo in Bangkok. They should have it in singapore too.
It was a abit of weird when you see more ladies, girls and women...err a mixture of female species than guys. Well, i had a conclusion. Those girls you saw in the morning. They are 100% girls. Probably good girls. Those girls you saw at nights, maybe not be girls. you know what i mean. They are probably the richer or the party-girls or girls who work only at nights. Let's just they are more than friendly.
Friend 1: " we'll walk thru this lane and maybe look see look see at their night life."
Thai girl 1: " Hi~!"
Friend 2: " Hello."
Thai girl 1: " Hi! I love You!"
xiaoqiang:" Guys, can we walk a little faster?"
A very different education shock for me too. I was jaw-dropped when i saw those girls in school uniforms. No, i don't have uniform-fatish. But they just wore super body-hugging tops and very short skirts. This is what i call "everyday eat ice-cream/ or daily high on ice-cream."
I always thought thais are good english-speaking people or at least speak abit of english. It isn't true especially in those shopping malls. It was a duck quaking to a chicken. Most of them speak relatively in their native language. But rest assured that those at hotels are fine.
I want to go to bangkok again. Good food, good shopping. But no kids along please.

She's Gone
I came across this song was sometime ago passing a room in KTV. i stood still listening to the song outside the room peeping thru the window wondering who's the singer. I thought he sings well. then i realise he's just playing the song without muting the singer's voice. i thought he's weird.
Then i came across this song again in Diamond's IPOD this year. it just flashed back the KTV scene instantly. But after watching this korean drama " Love in Harvard" made me went mp3-hunting for this song today.
A bookmark in a book, a poem on the internet, a walk in the park. And she's gone...
I can see your face, each time I burn.
Everytime it rains, Each time snows.
I can hear your voice everywhere I go.
And time it heals every pain. So that's what they say.
And I would give anything. To make you come back to stay.
She's gone, I didn't know it was so long.
If I can't feel her in my arms.
The days will be long and it will go on and on.
She's gone I didn't know it was so long.
If I can't feel her in my arms.
I'll sit here alone The pain will go on and on.
Oh no.......
Every breath I take Every step I make.
I would see you here in this world I make.
And thru the pouring rain. And the blinding snow.
I can hear you voice everywhere I go.
I know that I need her.
In every thing I do.
Goodbye is not the word I need to hear.
